TERMS AND CONDITIONS TOURS 2023

RESERVATIONS & DEPOSITS: A non refundable deposit of 15% of the price of the tour, per person, is required to insure your reservation. Balance is due 60 days before departure. The deposit will be refunded if the tour is canceled by IAATS/WTRAV. (see paragraph: REFUNDS).

Prices are final at the time of your reservation.

WHEN A TOUR has a minimum amount of required participants and a registration date limit, and (ie: Charleston registration will close on January 20, 2020 - 5 Participants minimum), if the minimum amount of participants is not achieved, the tour will be cancelled and your deposit fully refunded. We are suggesting not to make airlines or any kind of reservations regarding those tours prior to the deadline. You will be notified one business day after the deadline if the tour is a go or not. IAAT/WTRAV will not be responsible if you have made any kind of arrangements prior to the deadline.

BALANCE PAYMENT: Art & Architectural Tours & Seminars reserves the right to charge balance on supplied credit card beyond balance due date. If deposit is paid by check, tour member agrees to supply Art & Architectural Tours with a credit card to insure proper and timely balance payment should balance not be paid by balance due date.

IAATS/WTRAV reserves the right to negotiate prices and services rendered on an individual or group basis.

AIRFARE: Airfare is not included. It is the responsibility of the participants, who need to arrive as stipulated in the brochure/registration or website.

REFUNDS: The following amounts will be refunded: up to 61 days prior to departure date: full refund minus non refundable deposit(s); 60 to 45 days prior to departure date: 60%; 44 to 10 days prior to departure date: 40%; 0 to 10 days prior to departure date or date of departure or after: $0. No refund will be made for any part of the tour package omitted by the tour member.

ALL CANCELLATIONS MUST BE CONFIRMED IN WRITING to Art & Architectural Tours & Seminars postmarked the date of cancellation.

If the tour is canceled all deposits shall be refunded in full with no further obligation upon Art & Architectural Tours & Seminars.

TRIP CANCELLATION, BAGGAGE, HEALTH &ACCIDENTAL INSURANCE: Trip Interruption, Travel delay, Lost Baggage, Medical Expense, Emergency Assistance and Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance through Travel Guard International is included in the cost of each tour. Cancellation insurance in case of your own cancellation is NOT included. We suggest that participants should acquire Cancellation Insurance.

HOTELS: All rooms with private shower/bath, unless otherwise stipulated in the itinerary. The hotels are a minimum of 4-Star hotels. If for reasons beyond our control the hotel specified on itinerary is not available, we reserve the right to substitute an equivalent hotel.

Bedrooms in a rented House will have private bath unless otherwise noted in itinerary.

SINGLE SUPPLEMENT: All prices are Per Person/Double Occupancy. Anyone traveling alone must add a surcharge as indicated in the price list.

MEALS: Continental breakfast is always included. Some dinners and some lunches are included as stipulated in itinerary.

ENTRANCE FEES/GRATUITIES: All applicable entrance fees & gratuities are included.

TRANSPORTATION: All transportation between rendezvous point at official commencement of tour in country and town specified in brochure/ website, and drop point on last day of tour by either motor coach, mini-bus, train, car, or a combination of several modes of transportation is included. Travel in major cities is mostly by public transportation or by foot.

TRANSFER: Transfers from airport to rendezvous point (such as Hotel) and back to airport stipulated in brochure/website are included.

PLEASE NOTE: Items of a personal nature such as, but not limited to: laundry & dry cleaning, telephone, telegrams, cables, faxes, alcoholic beverages, snacks, use of mini-bars, soft drinks, tea, coffee (except as specified), postcards, souvenirs are not included.

PASSPORT: A valid passport is required for all abroad tours. Check expiration date, which must be, preferably 3 months beyond return date.

VISA: As of this printing (12-2022), there are no visa requirements for France, Italy, Greece, Spain or any of the 27 countries members of the EU or Morocco. Art & Architectural Tours & Seminars should not be held responsible if participants are not accepted in the country visited.

For any other countries where there may be the need for a Visa, we will advise how to apply for it.

We use, for new passport or visas, a company that expedite the process: VISAHQ.COM (PS: We do not receive any compensations from them)

COVID-19: Each country or part of a country may have different rules about proof of vaccination, where to wear masks, etc. We will keep you aware of rules changes, when they happen. We STRONGLY advise you to also check on your own, since we cannot be held responsible for any problems that could derive from changes in a particular region's rules and regulations.

DISCLAIMER: Art &Architectural Tours & Seminars hereinafter designated as IAATS/WTRAV, acts only in the capacity of agents for hotels, airlines, bus companies, railroads, or owners or contractors providing accommodations, transportation or other services, and all receipts and tickets issued by IAATS/WTRAV are issued subject to any and all tariffs, terms and conditions under which any accommodations, transportation or and other services whatsoever are provided by such hotels, airlines, bus companies or by their person in employ. By the acceptance of receipts and tickets the tour member agrees to the foregoing, and also agrees that IAATS/WTRAV shall NOT be or become liable, or responsible for any loss, injury or damage to person, property or otherwise in connection with any accommodations, transportation, or other services, resulting directly or indirectly from any acts of God, inclement weather, for breakdown in machinery or equipment, or acts of government or other authorities, de jure or de facto, wars whether declared or not, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, thefts, quarantines, medical or customs regulations, defaults, delays or cancellations, or change in itinerary or schedules, or from causes beyond IAATS/WTRAV' s control, or for any loss or damage resulting from insufficient, or improperly issued passports, visas or other documents, and that IAATS/WTRAV shall not become liable or responsible for any additional expenses, or liability sustained, or incurred by the tour member as a result of any of the foregoing cause. IAATS/WTRAV reserves the right to decline to accept or retain, any person as a tour passenger, should such person's health, mental condition, or general comportment impedes the operation of the tour or the rights, welfare, or enjoyment of other tour passengers, and no refund will be given. The right is reserved to substitute hotels, and alter the itinerary, or reverse the places to be visited. The right is reserved to cancel the tour prior to departure. If any tour must be withdrawn prior to the passengers' joining the tour, IAATS/WTRAV's liability is limited to a refund of moneys received by IAATS/WTRAV. IAATS/WTRAV is not responsible, or liable for defaults of those not directly under control of IAATS/WTRAV.
