The process will take 3 days and will cost € 20 or about $23.04. It is a similar concept in use for Europeans traveling to the US, which costs $30. Travelers under the age of 18 & those over 70 will not pay the fee but will still need to apply.
It will certainly cut waiting times at the immigration counters when arriving and when leaving.
This ETIAS will be valid for three years and will give a traveler permission to stay up to 90 days in any 180-day period in any European country.
I will keep you informed when the ETIAS will be officially necessary.
Visitors traveling to the United Kingdom for stays up to 6 months can apply online for the United Kingdom ETA.
BE CAREFUL not to use a visa company which may charge you up to 150 US Dollars to do it for you.
We use, for renewing or for a new passport or visas, a company that expedites the process: VISAHQ.COM (PS: We do not receive any compensation from them).
