SAVANNAH - June 21 to 26, 2022

A really beautiful old city with a fantastic city plan, which makes it one of the most enjoyable places to visit while walking. There are some great museums, like the Jepson Center for the Arts, designed by Moshe Safdie, who also created Habitat-7 in Montreal 

or the SCAD Museum, at one of the most important art and design school in the Nation, The Savannah College of Art and Design.

There are also famous, elegant, extravagant, historically important, as well as architecturally relevant mansions like the Andrew Low House; the Juliette Gordon    house  (she founded the Girl Scouts in 1860); the Sorrell Weed House, in which I will show the fantastic way the owners had devised to get rid of the heat in the summer;

The Owens-Thomas House considered the nation’s finest example of English Regency architecture; or the Mercer House, world-famous because its owner was a central figure in a great book: “In the Garden of Good and Evil.”
