I am more than ever excited to provide more tours to curious travel lovers, interested in

COLUMBUS, INDIANA - October 31 to November 5, 2024

Columbus' reputation as one of the richest architectural cities in the country is growing all the time.  AIA describes it as the nation's 6th most architecturally important city.

This amazing display of superior design came from the vision of J. Irwin Miller, 2nd CEO and a nephew of a Co-Founder of Cummins Inc., the Columbus-headquartered diesel engine manufacturer. He instituted a program in which the Cummins company paid the architects' fees, he thought could do honor to the city.
The high number of notable public buildings and sculptures in the Columbus area, designed by such individuals as Eliel SaarinenEero Saarinen, I.M. Pei, Robert Venturi, Cesar Pelli, Kevin Roche and Richard Meier have led to Columbus earning the nickname "Athens of the Prairie."

Columbus has seven buildings designed by Pritzker Prize winnersKevin Roche (4),

I.M. Pei, Richard Meier, Robert Venturi, and seven American Institute of Architects Gold Medal winners.

Dear Jean,

Our recent trip with you to Provence was delightful, informative and so much fun -- we will always remember it. What a treat to have you all to ourselves. You did a wonderful job of customizing our journey to suit our needs and interests. Knowing that my husband and I were celebrating milestone birthdays, you outdid yourself creating a one-of-a-kind experience. We are so grateful for your time, love and attention. I would recommend your tours to anyone looking for a deeper experience on vacation, one that includes history, education and a fuller understanding of the culture, arts and architecture. It's been a couple of weeks and we are still wandering around in a Provence-induced haze of happiness. Thank you!

Lisa Kahn, Naples, Florida

Bonjour Jean! I’ve been reflecting about our Portugal trip, especially as people ask me about it.

Thank you again for putting together a wonderful trip.

What great places we went and what interesting and beautiful things we saw!

You put so much work in organizing everything, and Gary and I both appreciate it so much.

Your consistent verve for life and exploring is beyond belief, and your energy surpasses that of all of us together!

Caron & her husband Gary were on their 6th tours with me, coming with employees of their architectural firm, and three friends,

in May 2023

I promise to never to sell or share my lists of people who are, were, or will be interested by my tours.
