At the foot of the Middle Atlas Mountains, architect Cabell B. Robinson played with the quirks of nature and the natural slopes to design a wonderful course in the midst of an olive grove.
Fez Royal Golf club, originally had nine holes. This is a beautiful course and, like all Robinson’s gems, it is high in quality of design and construction and with impressive shot values and a variety of options. It has expansive fairways, big bunkers and large rolling greens which can be numbered among the finest in Morocco. An interesting aspect of the design is the multiple tees, as many as five on each hole, all of premium quality.
The course is uniquely positioned at the center of this Imperial City. The course works beautifully with the natural landscape and makes great use of the uneven ground and clusters of trees. There is a large lake and many bunkers to overcome, one bunker is particularly huge at 12000 square foot. (PAR 72 - YARDAGE 6542)

It took French painter Jacques Majorelle (1886-1962) forty years of passion and dedication to create this enchanting garden in the heart of the “Ochre City”. It is one of the most delightful and stunning spots within this red walled city.
At the end of his life, after having been forced to subdivide it on several occasions, Jacques Majorelle had to sell what remained. The garden, abandoned, fell into disrepair. Jacques Majorelle returned to France in 1962 after a car incident and died later that year of complications from his injuries.
Yves Saint-Laurent and his partner Pierre Bergé saved it from becoming a real estate project and becoming a hotel complex.
